Friday.. Got to love it..

Yesterday I had my first test in Biochem.. It went pretty well.. I still have a take home portion left to do, but it didn't look to hard, what I glanced at. Today is friday.. Yeah.. In lest then a week we will be in a new apartment.. Not looking forward to the move.. but looking forward to being out of the Funeral Home.

There is going to be a lot of fun things going on this weekend.. The guys night out, construction of Tanner's fort... But I am probably not going to be able to partake.. of most. I am taking QC's on call.. Need a little extra money if I am going to be in a house next year.. Got to save up a good down payment, plus pay off my car.. So I am going to be on alittle teather this weekend, no farther then 30 min away from work.. Enjoy today and your weekend..

A little update

I know that it has been awhile since I have posted my progress, so here is a little update. I have been on a pseudo diet and workout plan for awhile now. I checked out the body for life book at the library a while back..(I have a late fee for it now) and thought that I might give it a try. I haven't been following it to the T, but have adapted it a bit. I have been making some progress. I believe that when I started I weighed in at about 205-210lbs(unbelievable huh? don't look that heavy do I). Yesterday on campus I stepped on the scale to my disbelief weighed in at 189lbs. WOW.. I couldn't believe it. I guess that cutting the majority of sugar (drinks..ie pop) out of my diet works.

Lost my third week straight in football.. this time by less then a tenth of a point. I really need to do more research on who I play each week.. Starting QB 6 pts. QB on the bench 16.. What was I thinking...

Short Notice..

Hey.. Everyone that expressed interest in the Bowling league at the CFC. There is a new mixed league starting this Saturday the 24th. I believe that the time is 5:30. So if you want to get a team together.. Do it.. 4 bowlers. Amy and I might be interested in forming a team. Let me know. or Go HERE and form your own team and let the league know that you are coming..

No basketball..

That is right.. no basketball.. We couldn't get enough guys together to play.. and those that thought that they might want to play didn't want to pay. Myself included. That league was just too expensive. Maybe we can get a group together to shoot around and play a few games just for fun this winter. I really enjoyed playing "HORSE" with some of the youth at the Yearsin estate. Maybe next year I will be organized enough to put a team together.

Just a question what other sports should we try to play?? paintball... hockey... although hockey could be alittle expensive.. BOWLING>>> yeah now there is a league sport that would be good to play.. There is alot of time to sit and talk, make fun of each other.. plus it is easy on the mature members...

Awesome weekend...

Man was this weekend awesome or what.. Newsong had thier community concert celebration on Sunday afternoon. And it was awesome. A bunch of people showed up, and I think that everyone had a good time.. The band did a great job, I don't think that the clowns ever had a break to sit down. They were painting faces and making ballons all day. Lev's had some great doughnuts, The Mustard Seed served up some good coffee. It was an awesome weekend.. Russ you did a great job putting this together.

On a side note I think that I am going to be 0-2 in fantasy football.. Just played the wrong people... man..

FOREVER...

I feel like it is taking forever for this day to end. Granted it is a ten hour work day with an hour lunch. (but I stay at work... so it isn't really a lunch) I keep swaying back and forth with going through with the basketball league. I haven't been able to get enough guys to commit yet, there are several people still on the fence. But, we are going to keep at it..

On a happier note.. Looking forward to this weekend. It should be good.. So everyone try to make it out to Adams park for the concert.

Basketball is a go

Alright.. The fellas from the church are going to put a team together to play basketball at the CFC. It should be a fun time of excersize and fellowship. I by default have been named coach. I guess because it was my idea.. What was I thinking? I will need money from any prospective player by this weekend. $34. Well I am on campus and it is about time for class. Blog at you later.... Practice anyone?

Great Weekend...

Well I had a great week/weekend... How about you.. Amy had a flat on Wednesday (total blow out). Frigerator died in the apartment on Friday.. Not going to be replaced until tomorrow... Made an offer on a house.. On second thought.. The mortgage was going to be too much.. Heard that they were going to make a counter offer.. Relieved.. We have a way out of the deal.. Our realtor calls without our knowledge and tells them if they counter we will not accept it. So they accept our offer as is.. NO.... Found wiring violations that would be pretty expensive to fix.. Hopefully they will not offer to fix them.. This is our last way out.. If not we are going to be stretching things pretty thin.. So feeling a little stress..

But,, GOD IS GOOD. had a great fellowship with the church family.. Sat in on the 101 class.. awesome.. another great small group fellowship. Fantasy football started..(I think that I am going to lose. Still have one player left) Keep your focus on the Lord and he will guide you through your trials..

We did it...

Well we wrote an offer last night. Now comes the waiting...... Do they accept the offer? Will the inspection come back to our approval? Will the bank give us the money? I am sure the bank will. These are all just questions that fly through my mind from time to time.. But I am not worried about it. I know who is in control. I will keep you updated.. BBH

First day of Class...

Well today was my first day of classes for the semester.. I am only taking one class again.. Biochemistry... Yeah.. It could be pretty interesting.. But the first lecture was kind of boring. I was unable to get a book too.. The school book store listed the book at 142 bones.. I just ordered it off Amazon for ~$124 with shipping... And that is new...plus I got triple points on my amazon card... oh yeah.. So I will have my nose buried in text books once again..

Back at it...

Well Amy and I are back to looking at houses.. I think that we might have found one.. It is in Adrian.. Kind of stinks to be moving out of Tecumseh.. But we have to go with what we can afford. This is the current candidate, it has most of the qualities that I am looking for except it doesn't have a basement. Otherwise it is awesome. I think that we are going to write an offer on it.. Pray that Amy and I will be able to hear God's leading. Thanks... BBH

Fantasy Football time....

We had our fantasy draft this past Saturday.. I was an awesome time. Eight of the ten team managers were there. We had an awesome meal, Steak and Chicken Faijtas, Chips and Salsa, fresh guacamole. I am pretty happy with my draft results. I was the last in the draft lineup.

I don't know who the guy is in this pic.. But I like the cars.. I saw a couple of these Roush mustangs at briarwood Ford. Nice cars.. I wouldn't say no if someone gave me one or offered to let me drive one. It has the looks of the old muscle cars. I love muscle cars.. I don't know why.. I have never owned one.. but maybe someday... Until then I can look at pictures.. BBH
